Course objectives
- Explain the underlying concepts of modern theory of strategic management,
- Applying relevant examples and practices from actual enterprises to enable students to analyze their environment and assess their competitive position
- Develop the ability to compare potential business strategies of small and medium-sized enterprises with the aim of achieving a sustainable competitive advantage

Introduction to strategic management. Historical development of strategic management. Key strategic management objectives. Strategic management process and strategic levels. Mission, vision and strategic goals. Strategic analysis. Future prediction and scenario techniques. Competitive advantage and generic competitive strategy. Social responsibility strategy, business strategy, corporate and functional strategies - types of strategies and their features. Basic strategic orientations. Strategies of small and medium enterprises. Formulation strategy. Strategy implementation. Strategic planning and control. Strategic alliances and partnerships.
