Course objectives
- Provide overview of basic concepts in the field of culture, multiculturalism, interculturalism and intercultural communication
- Give an overview of the impact of cultural diversity, culture of a society and national culture on management functions, managerial processes and global business

Course content
Globalization as a global process and a global image of the world in the 21st century, reflecting on the dimensions of globalization. Entrepreneurship approaches in the global business. The features of a modern entrepreneur and the challenges of entrepreneurship in global business. The concept of interculturalism: historical genesis, conceptual definition, theoretical approaches and intercultural education as part of the educational policies of European countries. Intercultural approach to entrepreneurship. Aspects of intercultural communication in business relationships. Intercultural competence and traits of interculturally competent entrepreneurs. Intercultural conflicts and intercultural mediation. Intercultural education and training of entrepreneurs for intercultural relations in the context of lifelong learning and the knowledge society.
