Course objectives
Offer students an Anglo-American language accessory for efficient and confident management in various business situations in the ICT environment. Understanding and conducting telephone business conversations, short themed discussions and effective business meetings in English. Effective use of structures and skills required for active participation and / or presentation in business situations.
Course outcomes
- Master advanced Anglo-American ICT vocabulary and structures
- Ability to participate in business simulations and take over roles
- Acquiring the knowledge and skills required to generalize the characteristics of good and bad business meetings
- Adopt a methodology of courteous presentation of opinions, suggestions and arguments
- Adopting ways of accepting and rejecting a proposal
- The ability to argue the written / oral presentation of an individual and his own ICT solutions in the business English language
Course content
The course will feature business phone calls, participating in discussions and business meetings, and ICE terminology at a more advanced level in business English. Business skills will be refined with the use of state-of-the-art computer multimedia materials and through their own made presentations.
