Course objectives
- Provide an overview of basic theoretical concepts and practical tools of crisis management
- Developing risk perception and recognizing different types of risks in the business environment
- Enable students to design a business turnaround program
Course outcomes

Course content
Introduction to business crisis (the terms crisis and business crisis, features of the business crisis, causes of the business crisis). Crisis management process (narrow and broader crisis management, information network, crisis management phases, crunch plan stages, rollback strategy, and crisis strategy). Early crisis management and risk management (risk management, risk types and risk management, risk classification, process and phases, enterprise risk management and risk analysis, company prudence, enterprise performance, crisis announcement and situation environment, anti-crisis struggle tools). Business crisis identification (crisis symptoms, strategic crisis, crisis of success and liquidity, business analysis, reporting on the results of the analysis). Reactive crisis management (strategic renewal of enterprises, operational renewal of enterprises, liquidation of enterprises). Crisis communication (communication concept, crisis communication, crisis situations, crisis communication strategies, learning process from crisis).
