Course objectives

Develop competencies such as the ability to understand and use the modern English language in speech and writing in business communication.

  • In an argumentative way use the terms and key vocabulary of management, finance, and customer relationship management
  • Actively use  modal verbs in simulated language discourse, justifying the choice of the used modal verb
  • Actively use complex adjectives, distinguish their meaning according to the meaning of the prefix
  • Formulate hypothetical claims using appropriate sentences

  • Write a formal business letter using appropriate structures and vocabulary, referring to the previously received correspondence
  • Create a brief business presentation, present a product or service using appropriate formulations and vocabulary
  • Rank priorities based on the information provided and arguing in a debate the choice of the problem solving options
