Course objectives
Develop competencies such as the ability to understand and use the modern English language in speech and writing in business communication.
Course outcomes
- In an argumentative way use the terms and key vocabulary of management, finance, and customer relationship management
- Actively use modal verbs in simulated language discourse, justifying the choice of the used modal verb
- Actively use complex adjectives, distinguish their meaning according to the meaning of the prefix
- Formulate hypothetical claims using appropriate sentences
- Write a formal business letter using appropriate structures and vocabulary, referring to the previously received correspondence
- Create a brief business presentation, present a product or service using appropriate formulations and vocabulary
- Rank priorities based on the information provided and arguing in a debate the choice of the problem solving options
- Analyze texts and key vocabulary related to business topics in the field of management and customer relations
- Based on read texts compare and critically evaluate different management styles of a company
- Analyze the causes and consequences of an event while listening to assess the speaker's attitude
