In the town of Biograd na Moru, on the 20th and 21st October, the University of Applied Sciences in Virovitica, the University of Applied Sciences Baltazar Zaprešić, and Vilnius Gediminas Technical University from Lithuania have collectively organised a conference which gathered nearly 70 experts from different fields of business economy, information technology, tourism, rural and regional development.
The Ministry of Regional Development and European Union funds have with their sponsorship supported the conference whose goal was to give conclusions and recommendations for promoting sustainability in business in a dynamic environment, how to improve the business climate and strengthen the economy as a whole.
The conference featured effective discussions and exchanges of views which were not only useful for the participants, but also for the general public and enterprises, which, by applying the theoretical and practical results of the studies, have the ambition of enhancing their business processes.
The subjects of the papers were from the fields of Sustainable Economic Development, Tourism for the New Decade, Digital Technologies, Modern Managerial Challenges, New Paradigms in Public Policies, The Development of the Rural Economy, and the Significance of Regional Development.
