The scientific-professional conference: ‘’Continental Croatia: Historical Context, Current Events, and Perspective for The Future’’ is currently being organized by the co-organisers The Institute for Scientific and Artistic Work of the Croatian Academy of Science and Arts in Đakovo, Faculty of Education in Osijek, Institute for Migration in Zagreb, Virovitica University of Applied Sciences, and other potential co-organisers.
The goal of the conference is to, in a thematic and all-encompassing way, put continental Croatia into the spotlight of both science and professionals of the Republic of Croatia, and beyond.
The conference thematically encompasses different aspect of life in continental Croatia (including the economic, social, demographic, and migration, and all the way to the historical, cultural, identity and other aspects). The editorial staff will also accept papers that are not exclusively related to the area of continental Croatia, if relevant lessons are able to be extracted from them that are applicable to continental Croatia.
Venue and date of the conference: Đakovo, 19th and 20th October 2023.
