At Studenac, the Croatian chain of neighborhood stores, we are dedicated to enhancing efficiency and fostering innovation, with Studenac Digital serving as a pivotal component in this pursuit. Advanced analytics plays a crucial role in many of our projects, helping us better understand and meet the needs of our customers. To give you an idea of the scale, the data volume we manage at Studenac annually would equate to over 10 million pages in Word. This underscores the importance of predictive analytic tools in processing this data accurately, ultimately improving our business operations and customer satisfaction.
In addition to our operational goals, Studenac is committed to supporting the communities we serve. That’s why, in advance of International Women’s Day last year, we launched the KodiraONA project. This initiative aims to empower women in the fields of digital technology and data analytics. We’re excited to continue the competition this year, extending our invitation to women across Croatia. Specifically, we’re looking for women with a basic understanding of predictive analytics and proficiency in programming languages to participate in the competition.
We cordially invite all female students from your faculty to join the KodiraONA competition for a chance to win a mentoring program at Studenac, where they can further develop their skills in predictive analytics. The participant who demonstrates precision, knowledge, and creativity in solving the competition task will earn the opportunity to join our six-week mentoring program with the Studenac Digital team in Zagreb. Alongside invaluable hands-on experience with data scientists and engineers, the winner will also receive a subscription to Coursera, a renowned educational platform offering courses from over 275 leading universities and companies.
Please note that participation is on an individual basis, and applications are open from March 8 to March 15, 2024. For more details, visit KodiraONA.studenac.hr.
