All interested students and faculty members are invited to attend a lecture by Ivana Jurković, MA in Education specialized in Philology in English and German, Assistant Professor.
The lecture, titled “Present Perfect in Technical English,” is primarily designed for first-year Computer Science and Electrical Engineering students. It will take place on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, starting at 5:00 p.m. at the University of Applied Sciences in Virovitica, in room 1-06. However, it is relevant to all students taking English language courses who are interested in this grammatical topic.
Ivana Jurković has been employed at the University of Applied Sciences in Bjelovar since 2012. She serves as a senior lecturer and teaches English language courses in the fields of Computer Science, Mechatronics, and Nursing. She is also a doctoral candidate at the Postgraduate Doctoral Study Program in Linguistics at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. Furthermore, she is a member of the Association of Language Teachers in Higher Education and the international association Global Engineers’ Language Skills.
