On November 6, 2023, students at Virovitica University of Applied Sciences had the privilege of attending a guest lecture by M.Sc. Tina Živković, a representative from Slatinska Banka d.d., focusing on the topic ”Credit as a Way to Finance Businesses.”
Given that choosing the right financing method is a key aspect managed by business leaders, this lecture held exceptional importance for students enrolled in financial courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels of professional studies.
During the lecture, students gained insights into one of the most common ways businesses secure funds – credit. The presentation delved into every stage of the credit process, spanning from the decision-making phase to the credit processing procedures, creditworthiness evaluation, and the management of risks associated with participants in the credit process.
With a practical exploration of financial concepts from a financial institution’s standpoint, the lecture significantly enriched the theoretical content of the financial courses offered.
