Studenac, one of the leading retail chains and the chain with the largest store network in Croatia, uses predictive analytics in its operations thanks to its center of excellence Studenac Digital, dedicated to innovation and predictive analytics. We see data and analytics as a significant step closer to customers, but also as a means to make the entire business even more flexible and efficient and to respond to the needs of our customers as successfully as possible.
Aware that still, compared to young men, fewer girls decide to pursue education and career development in this field, we want to support the empowerment of women in the field of digital technology and data analytics. Therefore, on the eve of International Women’s Day, we launched the Kodira<ONA> project in order to share our knowledge and experience with women, but also to reward their excellence.
Kodira<ONA> is a project that consists of a competitive task in the field of predictive analytics, to which all female students from Croatia who have basic knowledge in the field of predictive analytics and know some of the programming languages can apply.
The contestant who demonstrates her knowledge and innovative approach and accurately solves the competition task will win a mentoring program in Studenac with the Studenac Digital team based in Zagreb, lasting up to six weeks. Studenac Digital’s team of data engineers and data scientists will show the winners, through the mentorship program, all the challenges and possibilities of applying predictive analytics within the dynamic retail sector for six weeks. In addition to the mentoring program, the winner will receive a surprise gift.
We hereby invite your students to demonstrate their knowledge in the field of predictive analytics by participating in the Kodira<ONA> competition.
It is only possible to participate in the competition task individually, and applications are open from March 8 to 15, 2023.
