The GASTROTOP project is still successfully being carried out at the University of Applied Sciences in Virovitica. This can be seen when the online panel discussion on the topic Food (IN)tolerance in Catering Facilities was held on Friday, 1st January 2022, which was one of the project activities. Many people participated, including: Mišel Doskočil, professor of Culinary arts and a top chef from Srednja škola Ivan Seljanec, Marija Goričanec – the President of the Association of Celiac Disease Patients, Jasmina Rakić Horvat – the representative of Udruga ruralnog turizma Hrvatska and owner of the rural tourism homestead „Rakić“, Miroslav Kanisek – the manager of the diabetic club ‘’Slatko srce’’, Davorka Gajari – manager of Podravka’s Nutrition and Sensory Processing services.
The panel was moderated by dr.sc. Kristina Svržnjak, and leader of the GASTROTOP project dr.sc. Silvije Jerčinović and the member of the project team dr.sc. Sandra Kantar also participated in the realisation of this event. And for the University of Applied Sciences in Virovitica, Božidar Jaković, mag.oec., s. lec., participated as the project manager.
