Students of Virovitica University of Applied Sciences Visit the Business Incubator and Pannonian Wood Center of Competence as Part of Field Study

Students from the Entrepreneurship and IT Management modules at Virovitica University of Applied Sciences, accompanied by their course instructor, Dr. Damir Ribić, visited the Business Incubator in Virovitica as part of their field study.

Saša Andrović, Head of the Economic Department of the Business Incubator, introduced the students to the Business Incubator as an entrepreneurial support institution and explained all the services it provides to novice entrepreneurs as they enter the business world. He also presented the “Network of Business Incubators” project, which resulted in the opening of three more incubators in the Virovitica-Podravina County, all of which successfully operate and support new entrepreneurs.

The students had the opportunity to visit other tenants of the incubator, converse with them, observe part of their operations, and hear about their experiences with the Business Incubator. Following this, the students toured the Pannonian Wood Center of Competence, where they were introduced to the work and services of this entrepreneurial support institution. Denis Validžić, the director, guided them through the center, showcasing some of the unique products that are the result of their activities.

Through field studies, Virovitica University of Applied Sciences enhances student learning in an interactive manner and makes student activities more engaging. Students participate in these initiatives with great enthusiasm and satisfaction.
