Organized by the Agency for Electronic Media and the UNICEF Office for Croatia, in collaboration with numerous partners and with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Media and the Ministry of Science and Education, the 7th Days of Media Literacy are held from April 22 to 28, 2024, with activities also taking place in the weeks before and after.
The project’s main objectives are to raise public awareness regarding the significance of media literacy and critical evaluation of media content, to facilitate media education opportunities for a broad audience, particularly children and youth, and to aid educators by furnishing educational resources to foster media literacy.
Various institutions such as kindergartens, schools, universities, libraries, cinemas, media outlets, associations, and other entities are invited to engage in the project by arranging lectures, workshops, film screenings, panel discussions, and other activities, available both in physical and virtual formats.
As part of the Days of Media Literacy project, a lecture by Dr. Anita Prelas Kovačević was held at the Virovitica University of Applied Sciences.
