On the occasion of the Night of the Book 2024, the Center for Library Activities in collaboration with the Family Center, branch office of Virovitica-Podravina, on April 25, 2024, at 3:30 PM, organizes a workshop led by Sandra Matošina Borbaš, university specialist in psychology, on the topic of meaningful learning as something that poses a challenge but also an opportunity to better acquire knowledge through various techniques.
The Night of the Book is an event that focuses on works, their creators, and readers, held on the occasion of World Book and Copyright Day and Croatian Book Day. In the Night of the Book 2024, we are interested in how we as readers cope with challenging times. In what literature do we find comfort and motivation for change? What answers to contemporary threats does literature and science offer us? What do psychologists advise us? How do we defend ourselves from pseudo-facts and fake news? And finally: how can we, thanks to what we read in books, change ourselves, and then the outcomes that lie ahead of us?
