On Wednesday, December 6, 2023, starting at 1:00 PM in room 2-21, a guest lecture will be held by Rudi Grula, the longtime director of the Tourist Board of Međimurje County. He will discuss ‘Međimurje County as a Model for Developing a Sustainable Tourism Destination.’ The lecture primarily targets students in the professional undergraduate study program in Management, specializing in Rural Tourism Management, and the professional graduate study program in Management, focusing on Destination Management. However, due to the fascinating and pertinent nature of the topic—an expert’s insights into Međimurje County’s achievement as Croatia’s first and the world’s fourth destination to receive the ‘Green destination-2023 Silver award’—all students, lecturers, and interested participants are encouraged to attend.
