Marijana Špoljarić, bacc. educ. math. et inf. gave a lecture titled ‘’Applying the ERR framework in teaching math’’ on Friday, 8th March 2019, in the Faculty of science in Zagreb. The lecture was held as the part of the work of the Expert section of the Croatian mathematical society, which gather teachers of mathematical subjects who are employed by polytechnics and independent colleges in the Republic of Croatia. The section’s scope of work includes periodic organization of expert exams, organization of public lectures and round tables on different topics related to teaching mathematics in professional studies, organisation of conferences for math teachers who are employed by polytechnics and independent college etc.

Croatian mathematical society is a professional association of mathematicians in the Republic of Croatia whose goal is to improve and promote mathematical sciences, teaching mathematics on all levels, and application of math in other disciplines, as well as improving the position of mathematicians in a society as a whole. CMS has more than 900 members, 4 branches and 4 mathematical associations, and is the umbrella organisation of mathematicians in RC.
