Course objectives
- Understand and evaluate the basic concepts and quality management features to explain the reasons for the quality management and the importance of implementing a quality management system
- Acquire knowledge of tools and methods of quality management in companies, explain the reasons for their introduction, and valorize their advantages and disadvantages.
- Analyze the costs of introducing and maintaining quality management systems and justifying the purpose and reasons for their implementation

Course content
Concept and quality management theory. Basic quality management asumptions. Quality and business score - quality costs. Quality management systems. Development of ISO norms. Total quality management - TQM. Six sigma concept. LEAN management. Tools and methods of quality management. Integrated and other management systems. Accreditation, certification and supervision.
