Course content
The basics of communication. Elements of the communication process. Types of communication. Forms of communication, active listening, verbal and nonverbal communication. Assertive communication skills (assertive techniques, causes of assertiveness). Public communication, speaking in public. Presentation skills (preparation of presentations, audience analysis, definition of presentation purpose, creation of content, presentation design, maintenance of presentations). Business dress code. Successfully writing a resume and request. Interview (setting goals, defining the contents of the interview, determining possible questions and answers during the interview). Communication age and mass communication. Media literacy. Contemporary public relations (concept, employees, context, origin). Theoretical public relations theory. Communication and public opinion. Media and media relations.
