Course objectives

  • Understand and evaluate the basic concepts of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial infrastructure.
  • Acquire knowledge of the elements of the entrepreneurial process, valorize the individual elements of the entrepreneurial process and assess the importance of certain business opportunities for entrepreneurship.
  • To justify the position on the need to apply business ethics to business operations.

  • Identify the basic characteristics of entrepreneurs

Course content

Concept and theories of entrepreneurship. Factors affecting entrepreneurship. Business idea. Entrepreneurial project. Efficiency rating. Market research. Segmenting the market and analyzing competitors. Analysis of micro macro environments of entrepreneurs. Develop new products and services. Lines, brands, distribution and packaging of products. Alternatives to creating business opportunities. Entrepreneurial infrastructure. Entrepreneurial strategy. The function of management in entrepreneurship. Possibilities of going out to overseas markets. Institutions of entrepreneurial infrastructure (project, consulting and engineering institutions, financial agencies, technological jobs, programs to encourage new jobs, free and enterprising areas), launching new jobs. Ethics of entrepreneurial activities, ethics of decisions, and their impact on other participants in the entrepreneurial process.
