Course objectives
The student should know the basic terminology of e-learning. They should be able to independently create or adapt the existing open-source solution for e-learning customer requirements, participating in creating content as a consultant and making the content come to fruition.
Course outcomes
- Explain the paradigm of e-learning.
- List the technologies used for e-learning.
- Give examples of what are the advantages and disadvantages of e-learning.
- List some existing open source solutions and how to customize them.
Course content
E-learning paradigm, classification. Advantages and disadvantages of e-learning. Technologies used in e-learning. LMS systems. Existing open source solutions - techniques used, adaptation, localization of language.
