Course objectives
Introduce students with the forms and characteristics of e-business, with its relevance to economic and other organizations and with the principles of its development. Through practical lessons (exercises), allow students to master basic knowledge and skills in designing and forming websites.
Course outcomes
- Define core concepts in the e-business area and its basic technological assumptions - Explain the importance of e-business for organizations
- Distinguish different forms of e-business, and be able to explain their characteristics and purpose in practical application
- Use the basic elements of HTML / CSS
- Independently make simple web pages
Course content
Introduction, the term e-business. Internet and Internet Services. HTML. E-mail. Types and forms of web sites, features, purpose. Website building principles. Web usability - usability of web places. Main website. Nielsen's website building principles. Examples of cases from practice. Internet marketing. Best practice case analysis. Safety and security in e-business. The EU-HR dimension of e-business. Creating and analyzing students’ e-business projects.
