Within the scope of the Erasmus+ program for training and cooperation activities (TCA), Danijela Vakanjac, the Head of the International Cooperation Center and Erasmus+ Coordinator, took part in an international seminar titled “A New Vision for European Cooperation.” This seminar was organized by the German National Agency DAAD with the goal of enhancing activities and broadening collaboration with higher education institutions in Southeastern Europe.
The entire seminar was conducted in English and was held at the University of Regensburg in Germany from September 10th to 12th, 2023. It attracted over 100 participants from 12 countries, including representatives from universities, staff members from international cooperation offices, project coordinators, and students with mobility experience from Southeastern European countries. The seminar aimed to provide interested participants from European higher education institutions with an opportunity to explore new avenues, topics, and modes of collaboration with countries in Southeastern Europe. Ultimately, this led to a deeper understanding of potential issues that may obstruct international and intra-regional partnerships. It also encouraged networking, the establishment of contacts, and the exchange of ideas and experiences related to the implementation of international projects thus far.
